The details on the packages
The Basics—$500 ($750)
This gets you what you need to become compliant and operational for renting during the Sundance Film Festival. The bare bones, you secure HOA/ Metro District approval, secure the Festival License (including Timp Property paying the $200 application fee), and your property listed on the Sundance Lodging website.
All’s in order—$1,500 ($2,000)
Want to reduce the stress with everything in the lead up to the Festival? Get all in order. This addresses your homeowner needs so you have everything included as part of The Basics and A Bit More along with an additional walk through of the property immediately before the Festival to ensure all is truly in order and there won’t be any issues or surprises for the tenant when they arrive (no last minute rushes for a handyman or troubles with locks or the WIFI) and a check of personal possessions being adequately stored. Additionally, a cleaning of the rental space is organized by a trusted vendor to ensure that the tenant arrives in a clean and tidy home so they’ll be more inclined to return and feel they’ve made the right call in renting your space. A great position to look at for further solidifying long-term investments through repeat bookings from good tenants.
A Bit More—$1,000 ($1,500)
Get a bit more of a hands-on approach with your rental. This is an ideal starting point for first time homeowners and empty nesters who haven’t gone through the short-term rental process before and may want to know what all to do (and not to do) during these two weeks. This includes everything with The Basics package along with a tour of the property from Timp Property to identify strengths, weaknesses, and property valuations and recommendations to boost overall value, access to our exclusive VIP Newsletter for updates on events, volunteering, deals, and further Sundance Film Festival involvement, and an exclusive care package for renters, improving tenant enjoyment and comfort.
Everything you need—$2,500 ($3,000)
Ideal for those who want to maximize the Sundance Film Festival, their rental value, and have everything accounted for before, during, and after the Festival. This is best for individuals wanting as little stress as possible and ensuring everything is taken care of and so tenants aren’t bothering you either. Sit back, relax, and make the most of the Festival without the stress or worries and have consistent updates and details provided to you from Timp Property. All of the details from the first three packages are included here, plus an additional cleaning of the rental space after the Festival so you can come back home to a clean place and feel like no one had even better there, an additional after Festival walkthrough and inspection to check for damage or missing property and follow up with the proper channels should any issues have arisen during the rental period, and, to show our appreciation for working with Timp Property and being part of the Sundance Film Festival experience, a $100 Downtown Boulder gift card for you to use at any of the over 100+ participating shops and restaurants in Boulder.
